엘리베이터 홀의 벽체는 기존의 대리석을 철거하고, 엘리베이터 도어와 같은 바이브레이션 스텐으로 마감하여 무게감을 줄이고, 통일성과 로비고의 확장성을 고려하였다.
7M 높이의 라운지에서는 풍부한 채광과 자연광을 즐기고, 벽은 밝은 칼라의 텍스쳐 있는 페인트는 섬세한 물성의 대비를 느낄 수있도록 한다.
상대적으로 낮은 천장은 완전한 노출 대신 익스펜디드메탈 천장재를 이용해 구조적 레이어를 더하고, 시각적 개방감을 확보하였다.
높은천장영역에 있는 카운터는 방문하는 손님들에게 환영의 의미와 더불어 6M 의 폭의 브라질산 와일드씨 대리석의 깊이감 있는 컬러감과 자연스러운 베인을 연결하여, 스케일을 증폭하는 역할을 한다.
2.4M 길이의 16MM 두께의 원목 마루는 스케일의 조화는 물론 벽의 텍스쳐 있는 오이스터 도장과 함께 공간에 촉각적 경험을 선사한다.
공간 왼쪽에는 8M 폭을 가진 미디어월이 설치되어 기능을 도모하고, 오른쪽으로는 공간의 아이덴터티를 상징하는 아카이브월을 만들어 주요섬유업체의 패브릭샘플을 위한 쇼케이스를 만들어주었다.
특별히 디자인된 아크릴 박스를 와이트 오크 원목 프레임이 반복되는 가구에 설치함으로써 전문적인 큐레이터 공간으로 활용되도록하였다.
The walls of the elevator hall were stripped of the existing marble and finished with vibration stainless steel, similar to the elevator doors, to reduce the sense of heaviness and to enhance uniformity and the lobby’s expansibility.
In the 7-meter-high lounge, one can enjoy abundant natural light, while the walls are painted in bright colored textures to create a sense of contrast through delicate materiality.
The relatively low ceiling added a structural layer and created a sense of visual openness by using an expanded metal ceiling panel instead of full exposure, whereas the ceiling was relatively low.
The counter in the high-ceiling area serves to amplify scale by conveying a sense of welcome to visiting guests, while connecting the inviting depth of color and natural veining of the 6-meter-wide Brazilian Wild Sea marble.
The 2.4-meter-long, 16mm-thick wooden flooring, along with the textured Oyster finish on the walls, provides a tactile experience to the space, complementing the harmony of the scale.
On the left side of the space, an 8-meter-wide media wall was installed to serve its function, while on the right side, an archive wall symbolizing the identity of the space was created to house showcases for fabric samples from major textile companies.
By installing specially designed acrylic boxes in furniture with alternating white oak solid wood frames, the space was made usable as a professional curator’s area.
