노후된 이벤트홀을 재정비하는 프로젝트이다. 이번 리모델링 프로젝트를 통해 마감을 유니크하게 변경하고 오래되서 낡은 것들은 교체하고, 공간별 마감을 통일하여, 2개층 높이의 대규모 이벤트 공간으로 재정리하는 것이 목적이었다.
외부에 3,4,5 층까지 이어진 기울어진 원형 벽체는 외부용 특수 도장을 밝은색으로 칠해서 천창을 통한 빛을 모두 담아낼 수 있도록 하였다. 기존에 있던 패턴을 없애 큰 스케일을 강조하였다.
위층에 있는 난간형 좌석까지 350명 이상의 행사를 진행할 수 있는 대형 홀은 루버패널과 흡음보드를 설치하여 흡음과 방음 기능을 추가해주었고, 계단난간은 벽 형태로 처리하고, 마감을 통일하였다.
홀 뒤쪽으로 자리한 창고및 준비공간은 건물의 원형형태가 드러나 있어, 효율적으로 사용하고 있지 못하고 있었다. 그래서 창고형으로 판매되는 가능한 큰 사이즈의 슬라이딩 도어를 2개씩 4세트를 설치하여, 두 공간을 가변성 있게 분리하였다. 벽쪽으로는 공연을 준비하는 사람들을 위한 메이크업 선반을 설치하여, 기능성도 추가하였다.
It is a project to renovate the aging event hall.
The goal of this remodeling project was to give the finishes a unique new look, replace the old and worn-out elements, unify the finishes by space, and reorganize the space into a large-scale event venue spanning two floors.
The sloped circular wall extending to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors on the exterior was painted in bright colors with a special exterior coating so that all the light coming through the skylight could be fully captured. The existing pattern was removed to emphasize a larger scale.
The large hall above, which can accommodate events for more than 350 people including the railing-type seats upstairs, was fitted with louver panels and sound-absorbing boards to add sound absorption and soundproofing functions, while the stair rail was treated as a wall and the finishing was unified.
The storage and preparation space located behind the hall was not being used efficiently, as the building’s circular form was clearly visible. Therefore, four sets of two large sliding doors, sold in a warehouse-style format, were installed to variably separate the two spaces. Along the wall, a makeup shelf was installed for people preparing for performances, adding functionality as well.
